Vacancies for the post of Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow and Post Doctoral Fellow on contractual / temporary basis in Division of Vegetable Science, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi

Walk-in-Interview for the following post:

1. Post: Sr. Research Fellow
No. of Post: Two
Emoluments (Fixed): Rs.16,000/- + HRA per month
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. degree in Vegetable Science / Olericulture / Horticulture / Plant Breeding / Botany / Seed Science with research work related to breeding/production technology of vegetable crops.

2. Post: Jr. Research Fellow
No. of Post: One
Emoluments (Fixed): Rs. 12,000/- + HRA per month
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. degree in Vegetable Science / Olericulture / Horticulture / Plant Breeding / Botany / Seed Science with research work related to breeding / production technology of vegetable crops.

3. Post: SRF / JRF
No. of Post: One
Emoluments (Fixed): Rs. 12,000/- + HRA per month
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. degree in Vegetable Science / Olericulture / Horticulture / Plant Breeding / Botany / Seed Science with research work related to breeding / production technology of vegetable crops.

4. Post: Post Doctoral Fellow
No. of Post: One
Emoluments (Fixed): Rs. 18,000/- + HRA per month
Essential Qualification: PhD degree in Vegetable Breeding / Horticulture / Plant Breeding / Plant Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Life Sciences / Botany / Plant Sciences with research work related to breeding/Molecular breeding / Transformation in vegetable crops. NET qualified and knowledge of molecular markers for marker assisted selection.

The interviews of eligible candidates for the above posts will be held on Friday, the 18th May, 2012 at 10.30 A.M. in the room of Head of the Division of Vegetable Science, IARI, New Delhi-12. The eligible candidates should bring an application on plain paper addressed to Head, Division of Vegetable Science, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi – 110 012 along with complete bio-data giving full particulars, i.e. proof of age, proof of reservation, qualifications, examinations passed, marks obtained in each examination, research experience in project/scheme, publications (only published, with a set of Photostat copy), NOC from the present employer etc. The candidate should submit one set of attested copies of marks sheets/transcripts. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
