Recruitment for the post of Project Scientist and Project Engineer for MoES sponsored project in Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur

Dated: 16th April, 2012

Applications are invited for the following posts:

Project Title: Cosmic Rays-Cloud-Climate Conundrum: Can Ion-Aerosol Near-Cloud Mechanism explain the Observed Correlations.

1. Post: Project Scientist
Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of PhD in either of Physics / Atmospheric Sciences / Environmental Engineering. The candidates with M.Sc. in Physics / Atmospheric Sciences / with five year research experience are also eligible for the advertised position.

2. Post: Project Engineer
Minimum Qualifications: MTech. in either of Civil Engineering / Computer Sciences / Environmental Engineering with three year research experience.

The candidates with sound knowledge of computer programming (Linux/Fortran/Matlab) will be preferred.

Salary: Rs. 22000-44000- pm (Depending on the experience)
