Recruitment for the Post of Project Officer, Office Attendant, Accountant etc at Regional Resource Centre For Elementary Education, Delhi University, New Delhi

Applications are invited for the following contractual positions in the Project Regional Resource Centre for Elementary Education, Delhi University, sponsored by Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, Mumbai. The vacancies are temporary and are likely to be operational till March 2014

1. Project Officers (2)
Salary 40,000 per month, consolidated
Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks.
Desirable: Experience of working on projects; coordination capabilities with good
communication skills; familiarity with research in education; experience of coordinating research and intervention in schools and work with school teachers.Knowledge of computers and working on the internet.
Job Description: Planning and coordinating activities of RRCEE such as organizing meetings and workshops for the Teacher Fellowship Programme; Curriculum Renewal and Professional Development Programme for DIETS of Delhi and other states; assuming responsibility of liaison and interaction with portal users; maintaining day to day activity of web portal; organizing public events and other activities related to resource and curriculum material development.

2. Resource Centre In charge (1)
Salary 22,000 per month, consolidated
Essential Qualification: Any graduate degree and certificate course in Library Science with experience of 2-3 years in documentation, acquisition, classification and cataloguing.
Desirable : working knowledge of computers, typing in Hindi and English and working on the Internet
Job Description: Building the Resource Centre Library; Coordinating activities related to curriculum and resource development, assuming responsibilities of purchase of books and journals; preparing materials for uploading on the web portal; collating and classifying translated materials; cataloguing; documentation of newspaper clippings and managing the library.

3. Computer Processor (1)
Salary 12,500 per month, consolidated
Essential Qualification: Minimum qualification of Senior Secondary or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board with at least 50% marks or graduate degree from a recognized University. Typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English and knowledge of Hindi typing through computers.
Desirable: Certificate in Typing/ Computer Processing and working competence in the use of computers both hardware and software, command over MS office and related applications. Competence in English and Hindi typing and the use of Internet
Job Description: Data entry, computer processing, editing and formatting of documents, maintaining computers, hardware and other electronic devices of RRCEE office and maintenance of data files. .

4. Part Time Accountant:
Salary: 7,500 per month consolidated.
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any Discipline with competency of maintaining accounts and experience of 2-3 years in handling accounts and maintaining account books.
Desirable: working knowledge of computers.
Job Description: Assuming responsibility of financial and administrative matters and keeping ledger books and account books.

5. Office Attendant and Helper (1)
Salary: 10, 000 per month consolidated.
Essential Qualification: Minimum class VIII qualified with 2-3 years experience as office attendant.
Job Description: Providing support for administrative matters and assisting in organizing activities of the Resource Centre.
