Recruitment for the post of JRF (Professional) and Technical Asst. in National Hub for Healthcare Instrumentation Development, Anna University, Chennai
Applications are invited for the following post:
1. Post: JRF (Professional)
No. of Post: One
Project Title: Position Location and Navigation Aid for the Blind.
Essential Qualification: B.E (First Class) ECE. Those who are graduating in April/May 2012 or later are not eligible.
Desirable: Knowledge in VHDL/Verilog, Spice, FPGA based system design, proficiency in Matlab, board level hardware testing, familiarity with test and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
Pay: Apprx. Rs.15,500/- per month consolidated.
2. Post: Technical Asst.
No. of Post: One
Project Title: Ultrasound System Design
Essential: Diploma (3 year) in ECE (after 12th Class) with first class. Those who will be completing Diploma in April/May 2012 or later are not eligible.
Desirable: Knowledge in PCB Software, PCB and SMT soldering and rework, usage laboratory equipments like oscilloscope, signal sources. Those who are completing Diploma in April/May 2012 or later are not eligible.
Pay: Apprx Rs.8,000/- per month consolidated
Candidates who have passion for indigenous development of healthcare instrumentation should submit their CVs on or before 9th May 2012 along with a copy of reprints of recent publications / patent abstract, brief write up of product development or project work and experience certificates to the respective project investigator by e-mail or through post.
The short listed candidates will be called for an interview after scrutiny of the applications. The actual date and time of interview will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates in due course by email only.
