Recruitment for the post of Junior Research Fellowship and Lab/Field Assistant under the Twinning Program for the North-East sponsored by DBT in Department of Ecology and Environmental Science Assam University, Silchar

Project Title: Exploration of Lichens from Barak Valley of Southern Assam and Arunachal Pradesh (North East India) and Isolation of Phytochemicals and Bioprospecting of some selected Lichens species.

1. Post: Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
No. of Post: One
Emolument: JRF Rs.16,000/- + HRA for the 1st two years and Rs 18,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year for SRF and applicable only if JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified, otherwise it shall Rs 12,000/- +HRA only for the 1st two years for JRF and Rs 14,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year for SRF.

2. Post: Lab / Field Assistant
No. of Post: One
Emolument: Rs. 5,000/- (Consolidated)

Date of interview: July 9, 2012 at 2 PM in the Department of Ecology and Environmental Science.
