Institute invites applications from Indian nationals, possessing excellent academic background, commitment to quality teaching, potential for carrying out outstanding research, and an inclination towards institutional development for the faculty positions on contractual basis at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various Disciplines of the Institute. Once selected, the candidate will have to join duty immediately.

Candidates possessing Ph.D./MTech/MPhil degree may be considered for appointment on contract for a period of one year.

Approximate Number of Vacancies:

Professor – 1, Associate Profesor-2, Assistant Professor – 5

Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Disability will be as per Government of India norms/rules. Pay and allowances for contractual faculty positions are negotiable.

Qualifications and experience for various posts are as follows-

• Professor in the pay scale PB-4 (Rs.37400- 67000/-) +AGP 10000, Experience: At least 10 years of teaching/ research/ industrial experience, out of which at least 04 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in an IIT, NIT or comparable Institute of Higher learning

• Associate Professor in the pay scale PB-4 (Rs.37400- 67000/-)+ AGP 9000, Experience : At least 06 years of teaching/ research/ Industrial experience after obtaining Ph.D. Degree, out of which at least 03 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor in IIT, NIT or comparable institutions including CSIR Labs. and industries.

• Assistant Professor in the pay scale PB-3, (Rs.15600-39100/-)+ AGP 6000, No experience required
