Recruitment for the post of Project Scientist for IFCPAR sponsored project in Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur

Applications are invited for the following post:

Post: Project Scientist

Project Title: Development of a non-hydrostatic finite-volume icosahedral model for regional / global climate simulation and weather forecast.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences/Aerosol Science/Physics/Chemical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering.
or
- M.Sc. in Atmospheric Sciences/Aerosol Science/Physics/Chemical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering with five years of working experience.

The candidates with sound knowledge of computer programming will be preferred. The candidate who has submitted his PhD thesis can also apply for this post.

Salary: Rs. 22000-2200-44000- pm (Depending on the experience)
