Vacancy for the post of Guest Faculty in Centre for Folk Culture Studies, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad

Post: Guest Faculty
No. of Post: One – Category (OBC)
Specialisation: Folk Culture/ Folklore/Folk Life Studies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with at least 55% marks in any of the subjects: Folklore/Folk Culture/Folk life Studies
- NET in the concerned subject as per the UGC norms.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Evidence of research work carried out in any aspect of Folk Culture / Folklore traditions at Doctoral / Post-Doctoral Level.
- Experience in field work and Documentation.
- Participation in International / National workshops in Folkloristics
Emoluments: Consolidated payment of Rs.20,000/- pm per course will be paid. In case two courses are given a consolidated payment of Rs.30,000/- pm will be paid.

It may be sent to the Head, Centre for Folk Culture Studies, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad, Central University P.O., Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 46, with a superscribe “Application for the Guest Faculty Post” on the envelop on or before 4 p.m of 31st May 2012. Applications received after due date may not be considered. The short listed candidates will be called for colloquium cum Interview in the second week of June 2012.
