Recruitment for the post of Senior Research Fellow and Lab / Field Assistant on contractual basis for DBT funded project in Division of Genetics Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi

Walk-in-Interview for the following post:

1. Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
No. of Post: Two
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Plant Sciences.
Desirable Qualification: NET qualification & experience in application of molecular markers in plants, estimation of molecules using HPLC and related techniques.

2. Post: Lab / Field Assistant
No. of Post: One
Essential Qualification: 12th pass from recognized board.
Desirable Qualification: Experience and knowledge of cultivating Agricultural crops.

Interview Schedule: The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 21th June, 2012 at 10.00 AM. in the chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.

Reporting time: 9:30 AM

The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. The original degree of Master of Science or provisional (for SRFs) and 12th pass certificate (for Lab/Field Assistant) is essentially to be brought while attending the interview, failing which candidate will not be allowed to attend the interview.

The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR / IARI, have to declare his / her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in advance in writing so as to reach Head, Division of Genetics, by 18th June, 2012.
