Vacancies for the post of Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow for DBT sponsored project in Department of Energ, Tezpur University, Tezpur

Walk-in-Interview for the following post:

Project Title: Strengthening networking on BiomAss researcH and biowaste conversion-biotechnologY for EurOpe India inteGration (SAHYOG).

1. Post: RA
No. of Post: One
Essential Qualification: PhD in the field of Agriculture / Energy Technology / Environmental Science and related areas. Candidates with evidence of Thesis submission may be considered.
Desirable Qualification: R&D experience as evidenced from publication in standard journal.
Emoluments: Rs. 23,000/- + 15% HRA

2. Post: SRF
No. of Post: One
Essential Qualification: M.Tech. in Energy Technology or M.Sc. in Agriculture / Chemistry / Environmental Sci. & related branch with two years of research experience.
Desirable Qualification: R&D experience in the field of biomass energy as evidenced from publication in standard journal.
Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- + 15% HRA

Date & venue of interview: 29.03.2012 at 11:00 AM in Department of Energy, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Dist. Sonitpur, Assam.

Applicants may send application with latest CV to the PI by email. They must come with a copy of their CV and academic testimonials having proof of age, qualifications, PhD award letter / evidence of thesis submission, experience, copy of publications etc. along with the originals for appearing in the interview. Applicants in the category of RA should also arrange to send recommendation letters directly from two Academicians to the PI (One must be the PhD Supervisor of the applicant). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. If selected, candidates are required to join within a week.
