Recruitment for the post of Junior Research Fellow on contractual basis for DBT funded project in Division of Veterinary Biotechnology, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly

Post: Junior Research Fellow

Project Title: Development of prophylactic as well as therapeutic DNA vaccine for canine mammary cancer.
Essential Qualifications: MVSc / Masters degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / life science or relevant basic sciences with NET / GATE or equivalent qualification.
NET / GATE qualification is not essential for master’s degree in professional courses.
Desirable Qualifications: Well versed with the following techniques:
- Molecular biology techniques such as gene cloning and expression in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells,
- Cell culture techniques such as primary culture, maintenance of cell lines,
- Handling of laboratory animals, collection of blood from laboratory animals.
Age limit: 35 years (relaxation for women and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms).

Venue: Division of Veterinary Biotechnology, IVRI, Izatnagar
