Vacancy for the post of Junior Research Fellow for DBT funded project in Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Assam

Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Post: One

Project Title: Studies on bio-ecology of helopeltis theivora and development of a forecasting model of its incidence for effective management.

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000.00 + 10% HRA per month for the first two years if NET / GATE / BET / BINC qualified to be promoted to SRF @ 18000+10% HRA in the third year. For other candidates (Non-NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified) it shall be Rs. 12000.00 + 10% HRA years to be promoted to SRF @ 14000 + 10% HRA in the third year

Essential Qualifications: Essential Qualification: MSc degree in Life Sciences / Biosciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry, MSc (Agri). MVSc (Desirable- research experience in Enzymology / Protein Chemistry/Proteomics). Candidates completing their Masters by July, 2012 may also apply for the position.
