Recruitment for the post of Junior / Senior Research Fellow for CSIR funded research project in Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Hamirpur
Applications are invited for the following post:
Post: Junior / Senior Research Fellow
Project Title: Mathematical modeling of Vibrations and Waves in Thermoelastic Media.
Academic Qualifications:
JRF: M.Sc. Mathematics / Physics / equivalent with at least 60% marks / equivalent and NET / GATE qualified.
SRF: M.Sc. Mathematics / Physics / equivalent with at least 60% marks / equivalent with two year research experience to be assessed from the published work/dissertation or
NET / GATE qualified and 60% marks in M.Sc. Mathematics with two year research experience/training.
The candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may be considered for SRF extended.
Fellowship:
JRF Rs. 12000/- pm
SRF Rs. 14000/- pm
SRF Extended: Rs. 16000/- pm

Last Date for submitting the application: January 02, 2012.
The applicants must be addressed to PI and must reach the office of Head, department of Mathematics by the last date viz 02/01/2012.
