Today world is moving with high pace. There is high competition in every sector and field. Traditional long term courses are reliable pathways of making a career. But with growing awareness students are also opting for Professional short term courses.
These courses actually help in updating oneself with latest courses in demand and thus help in maintaining once competencies in the job market.
Such courses are also beneficial especially for those students who are unable to seek admission in regular courses. Student can go for these short term courses and save their precious years. Short term courses actually prove beneficial for those students who have weak financial background.

Government is also taking initiatives in promoting short term courses and making people employable. Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development department is taking steps in this direction. It has announced to open 15 new professional courses. These will be job oriented courses. DSIID has been appreciated for its initiative, as such short term professional courses are in high demand. DSIID will provide professional training to approx. 3500 students every year.
Major short term courses are Web designing, Basic computers, Fashion Designing, Refrigeration, Call center training, Share market training, Travel and tourism , Catering, Crain operator Training , Mobile repairing etc. Duration of short term courses generally is of one month to one year. DSIID has also associated these courses with industries so that students may get instant job opportunities.
Short term courses not only help you in being more competitive but also in having more realistic approach towards your career goal
