1. Scholarship Program: Orange Scholarships for Masters Students from India, France, 2012-2013
Employer: The French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and Orange
Level of Study: Master
Brief Scholarship Description: The French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (Ministère des Affaires étrangères et européennes [MAEE]) and Orange create a programme to host and support high-level foreign students in France. For the year 2012-2013, they are pleased to prepare the fifth graduating class of this programme. The co-financed Orange Scholarship programme for the 2012-2013 academic year is aimed at students from India who are currently studying in their country. For the 2012-2013 academic year, a maximum of three scholarships will be awarded.

2. Scholarship Program: Excellence Scholarship Programme at ESSEC Business School, France

Brief Scholarship Description: It should be noted that the award of an ESSEC Excellence Scholarship cannot be cumulated with the award of another governmental or European Union Scholarship (EIFFEL, ALBAN, etc). However, until we obtain the results of other Scholarships, every ESSEC MSc in Management applicant admitted to the programme will be considered for the ESSEC Excellence Scholarship Programme.

3. Scholarship Program: 2012-2013, Masters PhD ENS Cachan International Scholarship Programme, France

Brief Scholarship Description: The ENS Cachan International Scholarship Programme is aimed at international students who are currently studying or have studied and obtained their latest diploma outside of France, who have a proven high academic level and who aspire to a career in the research and/or high education fields. This programme is aimed at students wishing to apply for a second year Research Master (RM2) or for a joint PhD in order to follow or pursue their research training in one of the departments or laboratories of the ENS Cachan.The grant amounts to 1000 euros/month. Specific funding conditions may exist for some countries; the concerned candidates will be informed by the ENS Cachan during the selection process.

4. Scholarship Program: HEC-EGIDE/ Eiffel MBA Scholarships for Developing Countries, France, 2012
Employer: HEC, French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministère des Affaires Etrangères)

Brief Scholarship Description: Launched in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministère des Affaires Etrangères), the Eiffel Scholarship is designed to bolster international recruiting by French schools of higher education, at a time when competition to attract top foreign students is growing among developed countries. HEC reserves the right to submit only those candidates it feels best qualify for the Eiffel Scholarship as the award is particularly competitive and prestigious. Note that applications from students currently studying outside France will be given priority over those from students already studying in France.

5. Scholarship Program: 2012, Emile-Boutmy Scholarship for International Students, France
Employer: Sciences Po
Level of Study: Undergraduate or Master’s
Brief Scholarship Description: Sciences Po created the Emile Boutmy scholarship after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) in order to attract the very best international students from outside of the European Union. The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

6. Scholarship Program: First call of the Master scholarships of the international Sophie Germain program, France
Employer: The Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Foundation (FMJH)
Level of Study: Master’s
Brief Scholarship Description: The Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Foundation (FMJH) is offering one or two year scholarships for talented students applying for a master position in Mathematics in one of its member institutions (the Departments in Applied or Pure Mathematics of the École polytechnique, École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, and Paris Sud 11 University in Orsay). Priority will be given to M2 applications but two year applications starting from the M1 will be considered. The stipend is 10,000 euros per year. Moreover the FMJH will support travel expanses (one round-trip ticket, economy class from your residence). Laureates won’t have to pay any tuition fees and will benefit from the French health assurance system (Sécurité Sociale.The FMJH’s scholarships are devoted to support a specific Master in which the laureates will be automatically registered provided they give the necessary relevant administrative information in due time.

7. Scholarship Program: 2013 IBRO Research Fellowship in Neuroscience, France
Employer: IBRO – International Brain Research Organization
Level of Study: Postdoctoral
Brief Scholarship Description: The IBRO Fellowships Programme aims to foster neuroscience research, especially in less well-funded countries, by providing support to high quality neuroscientists from diverse geographic and scientific areas (US/Canada Region excluded) who wish to broaden the scope of their training in neuroscience by working abroad in good laboratories. IBRO Research Fellowships, which include the John G Nicholls and Rita Levi-Montalcini Fellowships, support post-doctoral training to applicants under the age of 45 for up to one year. The funding for a 12-month, non-renewable fellowship is 35,000 euros. The John G. Nicholls IBRO Fellowship was created in honour of Dr. John G. Nicholls, the founding Director from 1994 to 2002 of the IBRO Visiting Lecture Team Programme (VLTP). The RLM Fellowship was created in honor of Professor Rita Levi-Montalcini (RLM), winner of the 1986 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for her discovery of the nerve growth factor.

Brief Scholarship Description: The International Space University is given funding from industry and government agencies to help support MSc students who are unable to cover all of their tuition fees. Brief Scholarship Description: Applications for training fellowships in 2012-2013 are invited from junior scientists wishing to complete their training in those aspects of cancer research related to the Agency’s mission: to coordinate and conduct both epidemiological and laboratory research into the causes and prevention of cancer.
