1. Scholarship Program: Maulana Azad National Scholarship Scheme for Meritorious Girl Students Belonging to Minorities
Employer: Maulana Azad Education Foundation (Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India)
Level of Study: Post Matric
Brief Scholarship Description: Maulana Azad National Scholarship Scheme recognize, promote and assist meritorious Girl students belonging to national Minorities who cannot continue their education without financial support. Scholarship will be admissible for expenditure on payment of School/College Fee, purchase of syllabus books, purchase of stationery/equipments required for the course & payment of Boarding/Lodging charges. An amount of Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand only) would be given to each student. It will be released in two equal installments of Rs. 6000/- each. First installment will be given for class XI and second installment for class XII.

2. Scholarship Program: Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child
Employer: UGC
Level of Study: Postgraduate
Brief Scholarship Description: UGC has introduced a Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for single girl child with an aim to compensate direct costs of girl education to all levels specially for such girls who happen to be the only girl child in their families. The value of scholarship is Rs. 2,000/- p.m for a period of two years only i.e. duration of a PG course.

3. Scholarship Program: Attendance Scholarship for Girls
Employer: Govt. of India
Level of Study: Pre-Matric
Brief Scholarship Description: The aim of this incentive is to enroll maximum girls students in Chandigarh. Under this scheme, a girl student is given an attendance scholarship @ Rs.30/- P.M. for 10 months in a year from class Ist to Vth provided she has completed 75% attendance in a month. An Incentive of approximately Rs.1.50 lacs was disbursed to the 515 girl students under this scheme during 2005-06 and same amount has been proposed in the financial year 2006-07.

4. Scholarship Program: Muslim Girls Scholarship
Employer: Department of Collegiate Education Kerala
Level of Study: Graduate and Postgraduate
Brief Scholarship Description: Only Muslim girls are eligible for this fellowship. The amount of fellowship is for Degree Rs.3000 /-, for PG Rs.4000 /- and for Prof.Course Rs.5000/-.

5. Scholarship Program: Muslim Nadar Scholarship
Employer: Department of Collegiate Education Kerala
Level of Study: Undergraduate, Postgraduate
Brief Scholarship Description: Girls students belonging to OBC communities and girl students belonging to BPL families of forward casts can apply.50% marks in qualifying exam. Income limit Rs. 18,000/- per year.

6. Scholarship Program: Scheme of Post-Matric Scholarships to the Other Backward Classes for Studies in India
Employer: Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India
Level of Study: Post-Matric
Brief Scholarship Description: Only two children of the same parents/guardian will be entitled to receive scholarships. This restriction will, however, not apply to girls. Accordingly, scholarship availed by girls of same parents/guardian will not adversely affect admissibility of availing scholarship upto two boys of same parents/guardian.

7. Scholarship Program: VIDYA – AICTE Full Fee Waiver Scholarships for Girls, Handicapped and Weaker Sections
Employer: Vidya International Charitable Trust – AICTE, PTA & VIDYA Alumni Association
Level of Study: Bachelors
Brief Scholarship Description: Vidya International Charitable Trust in co operation with All India Council for Technical Education, PTA & VIDYA Alumni Association offers the scholarship awards to the meritorious students for students joining Vidya Academy of Science & Technology (VAS).

8. Scholarship Program: Merit Scholarships for Girls
Employer: IIPS
Level of Study: Graduate and Postgraduate
Brief Scholarship Description: IIPS has instituted merit scholarships to encourage meritorious girl students. Girl students eligible for University Merit Scholarships will receive an additional 10% waiver on tuition fee for the respective semesters.

11. Scholarship Program: Scheme of Pre-Matric Scholarships to the Other Backward Classes for Studies in India
Employer: Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Govt. of India
Level of Study: Pre-Matric
Brief Scholarship Description: The scheme of Pre-matric Scholarship would be helpful in spreading education amongst such children specially amongst the girl child of weaker sections. Scholarship award will be sanctioned in the case of students whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed Rs.44,500 per annum.

12. Scholarship Program: Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child

Level of Study: Master’s
Brief Scholarship Description: The University Grants Commission, based on the initiative of M/HRD, had introduced, Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child with purpose of supporting higher education through scholarship to such girls who happen to be only child in her family and also to provide incentive for the parents to observe small family norm. The rate of scholarship is Rs. 2000/- p.m.

13. Scholarship Program: Incentive Scholarships to High School Going Girls
Employer: Directorate of Social Welfare
Level of Study: Pre-Matric (High School)
Brief Scholarship Description: The girl students going to high school receive Rs. 500/- per annum as an incentive in addition to Rs. 100/- per annum, which is Pre-Matric scholarship. Therefore, only high school girls are eligible to receive Rs. 600/- per annum totally as scholarship.

14. Scholarship Program: Girl Genius Scholarship
Employer: College of Hospitality and Tourism
Level of Study: Higher Education
Brief Scholarship Description: In association with the FICCI Ladies Organization Girl Genius Scholarship has been established to award deserving young women demonstrating scholastic ability, leadership, and innovative thinking. These national scholarships seek to encourage young women aspiring to advance their education. The awardees will be given tuition waiver and free residency for three years to pursue their higher education.

Brief Scholarship Description: This GGGG Scholarship covers on total tuition, boarding, and lodging costs – including study books, and materials for practical purposes.
