Brief Scholarship Description: The Tercentenary International Masters Scholarships Scheme helps outstanding postgraduate taught masters students from outside the United Kingdom and European Community to study in the School of Chemistry by providing for some of the costs of their training. The scholarships are offered to overseas applicants starting a full-time MSc programme in the School of Chemistry in September 2012 on either the: MSc in Medicinal & Biological Chemistry or MSc in Materials Chemistry.

2. Scholarship Program: 2012-2013 Jubilee Scholarships for Indian Students

Brief Scholarship Description: British Council and the UK Government are delighted to present this wonderful opportunity that enables young Indians to pursue a one year Masters programme in Management, Manufacturing, Science and Technology in a recognised UK institution and follow it up with a month-long internship programme in the UK. 3. Scholarship Program: UNIPV International Scholarships for Students from Developing Countries

Brief Scholarship Description: The University of Pavia (UNIPV) and its students decided to create the ‘Fund for Cooperation & Knowledge – in and out of Pavia’. The Fund is financed thanks to the contribution both of the students (2 Euros each) and of the University itself. The Fund is intended to provide scholarships to students from Developing Countries, who wish to study one year at the University of Pavia, and to UNIPV students who would like to spend some months in a Developing Country for studying, researching and/or training.

4. Scholarship Program: Indian Postgraduate Scholarships offered by Kingston University

5. Scholarship Program: OFID Masters Scholarship Award 2012

Brief Scholarship Description: OFID (The OPEC Fund for International Development) is pleased to announce that qualified applicants who have obtained or are on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree and who wish to study for a Master’s degree are welcome to apply for the OFID Scholarship 2012. The OFID Scholarship will be awarded to support two students or candidates for Master’s degree studies. The applicant may be from any developing country, and he/she must first obtain admission to pursue a Master’s (graduate) degree in any recognized university/college in the world. The Scholarship is open to those students who wish to pursue studies in a relevant field of Development or Energy Studies. Through its scholarship scheme, OFID aims to help highly motivated, highly-driven individuals overcome one of the biggest challenges to their careers – the cost of graduate studies. The winner of the OFID Scholarship Award will receive a full tuition scholarship of up to US$50,000. The funds will be spread over a maximum of one year, toward the completion of a Master’s degree, or its equivalent, at an accredited educational institution, starting in the autumn of the academic year 2012.

12. Scholarship Program: 2012 Newcastle University India Scholarships, UK

Brief Scholarship Description: The International Office is delighted to announce 10 Newcastle University Indian Scholarship (NUIS PG) awards. 13. Scholarship Program: UK Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Programme for Developing Countries

Brief Scholarship Description: Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are a joint initiative between the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (with funding from DFID) and UK universities, to support scholarships for students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the UK. Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for taught Master’s courses only. All courses undertaken must be demonstrably relevant to the economic, social or technological development of the candidate’s home country. Awards are available at participating institutions in the UK only.

14. Scholarship Program: 2012 Tara Nirula International Students House (ISH) London College of Fashion (LCF) Graduate Scholarship

Brief Scholarship Description: The Tara Nirula ISH/LCF Graduate scholarship is a combined tuition fee and residential scholarship offered to international students from India with the ability and potential to make an exceptional contribution to the worlds of art, design, communication and performance. The Tara Nirula ISH/LCF Graduate Scholarship will be offered annually and is the product of a partnership between International Students House, one of London’s largest residences for International Students and London College of Fashion, one of the UK’s leading institutions for fashion studies. The Scholarship is worth the value of the tuition fees of the graduate course and the value of a single room at International Students House where the student will reside during their studies. 15. Scholarship Program: 2012-2012 Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships at University of Edinburgh, UK

Brief Scholarship Description: The University of Edinburgh will offer 8 Master’s scholarships for postgraduate Master’s study in any subject offered by the University for the 2012-2013 academic session. Each scholarship will amount to £2,000 and will be tenable for one academic year. These scholarships are supported and funded by the Scottish Government in partnership with the University of Edinburgh.
