11. Scholarship Program: International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)
Employer: Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR)
Level of Study: Postgraduate Research
Brief Scholarship Description: International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) are funded by the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR) and awarded to international candidates on the basis of academic merit and research potential. An IPRS will cover your tuition fees and your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), and provide a stipend (living allowance), but will not pay for travel expenses.

12. Scholarship Program: University President’s Scholarships (UPS)
Employer: University of South Australia
Level of Study: Postgraduate
Brief Scholarship Description: University President’s Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit. A UPS will cover tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). The living allowance must be provided by the University of South Australia centre, school, division or institute where an applicant has applied.

13. Scholarship Program: Australian Building Codes Board Research Scholarship

Brief Scholarship Description: Australian Building Codes Board Research Scholarship has been established to encourage undergraduate and postgraduate research in the field of building regulations in Australia. Brief Scholarship Description: The William T Southcott Scholarship will be offered to an outstanding postgraduate research student to undertake research leading to a PhD in the field of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline. The value of this scholarship is AUD$35,000 per annum for a period of 3 years consisting of an annual stipend of $32,000 (tax free) and an annual amount of $3,000 towards research costs such as conferences, overseas study and minor expenses.

Brief Scholarship Description: International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) is offered by RMIT University to international students commencing a higher degree by research (masters or PhD) at RMIT in 2012. 20. Scholarship Program: RMIT University International Research Scholarship 2012

Brief Scholarship Description: The scholarship provides tuition fees, the cost of an Overseas Student Health Cover policy and a living allowance of approximately AUD$23,427 (2011 value) per year for the duration of the program.
