Recruitment for the post of Project Associate in Department of Material Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur

Applications from highly motivated young persons are invited for the following post:
Post: Project Associate
Minimum Qualification:
- BTech / BE Mechanical / Metallurgy / Chemical (75% or 7.5 CPI) & GATE qualified.
or
- MSc Physics or Chemistry (65% or 6.5 CPI) & first class in BSc (with 60% marks in maths)
& (JRF qualified or 95% in GATE)
or
- MTech (70% or 7 CPI) & BTech with 60% marks
Knowledge & Experience preferred: Experimental techniques: XRD, SEM.
Practical knowledge of hydrogen storage in materials (synthesis of material, PCI curves, absorption desorption studies)
Consolidated Salary: 16000 p.m. [Salary range: 10000-1000-20000]
